Dr, Mario is a classic from my childhood. The speedrun rewards quick thinking and excellent execution. However, I’ve recently discovered that there are certain “seeds” to the game, where the randomness can be expected and mapped out. In order to make a serious time on the leaderboard, runners will reset the game until they get a starting pattern they know. After that, it’s more memorization than reaction and reflexes. Playing like this does not really appeal to me. I will be happy with a sub 20 minutes time!
Dr. Mario 0-10 in 22:37. I can do better but this was a fun start to speedrunning!Good enough for 40th place on the Dr. Mario Leaderboards
